Refunds & Cancellation
What you can cancel, what is refundable, and how long the money takes to come back.
What we sell
DMS TechLabs sells software subscriptions and custom software development. Nothing we sell is a physical good, so nothing is shipped and nothing is returned — a cancellation ends access, and a refund returns money.
Subscriptions
- Cancel any time. From your account, or by writing to us. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not cut access off on the day you cancel.
- Monthly plans. Not refunded for the current month, because the month has been served. No further charge is taken.
- Annual plans. Cancelled within 14 days of the first payment: refunded in full. After 14 days: refunded pro rata for whole unused months, less any one-time setup or migration fee already performed.
- Free trials. No card is taken for a trial, so there is nothing to refund. If a trial converts and you did not intend it to, tell us within 7 days and we will reverse it.
Custom development
- Work is quoted in phases, and each phase is invoiced before it starts.
- An unstarted phase is cancellable and refunded in full.
- A phase already in progress is billed for the work completed to the date you cancel, evidenced by the sprint record. The balance is refunded.
- A completed and accepted phase is not refundable.
When we refund without being asked
If we bill you twice for the same period, bill you after you cancelled, or fail to deliver a service you paid for, we refund it in full without you having to argue the case.
How to ask
Email dmsdiaan@gmail.com from the address on the account, with the invoice number. We acknowledge within 2 working days and tell you yes or no, with a reason, within 5 working days.
How long the money takes
- Approved refunds are issued within 7 working days.
- They go back to the original payment method — we cannot redirect a refund to a different card or account.
- Your bank then takes its own time: typically 5–10 working days for cards and UPI. That part is outside our control.
- GST already charged is refunded along with the amount, and credited against the same GSTIN.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please write to us first — we would rather fix it than contest it. Raising a chargeback before contacting us suspends the account while the bank investigates, which helps nobody.
Disputes
If we cannot agree, the matter is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
